Did You Know?
Our qualified counselling team provides FREE, one-to-one supportive counselling that is trauma-informed and client-centered. Support may include goal setting, problem solving, healthy relationships, emotional and practical supports, CAS advocacy, and assistance with completing applications and referrals.
Counsellors can provide referrals to community social service agencies that help with:
- mental health support
- housing
- employment
- education resources
- legal
- finances (such as Ontario Works and LEAP)
- childcare fee subsidy
- community programs for children and/or caregivers
Counsellors provide in-person, telephone, text and/or email support, as well as socially-distanced home visits across York Region.
Who Can Participate?
Prenatal and parenting youth ages 14-29 years.
