Child Development Centre
Learn and explore together with your little one
Did You Know?
The Child Development Centre (CDC) is a FREE service that offers a nurturing, positive play space specifically designed for children ages 0-6 years and their mothers. Our qualified staff and dedicated volunteers support the needs of individual children, taking care of little ones while mothers attend onsite high school, programs and counselling.
Our Living & Learning Together program includes weekly Mommy & Me workshops, offers child development activities and learning play tools that are engaging and fun. Moms are supported with parenting challenges and are encouraged to share their successes. This is a great time to chat with our experienced staff to answer any questions that you have about parenting and/or child development.
Who Can Participate?
Young children ages 0-6 years and their mothers ages 14 – 29 years living in York Region.
